It may be look like blogging tool but actually it is not. Ohlife is a web service that let you write note or activities on your daily life by replying their reminder email which OhLife sent you every day or week. You just simply reply the email to write your new entry at OhLife. It is private and nobody can see what you wrote. The design layout at ohlife is pretty neat and it uses beautiful typography. You should try it out!

I have been using Posterous for a while. I haven’t write anything about it yet. I might be late to write about it or may be you don’t know it yet. Posterous is very simple service allows you to post everything to anywhere by just emailing to post@posterous.com. It will automatically posts to any services that you have authorized in your account. No signup required (how cool it is), just email to post@posterous.com. It will automatically signup for you with posterous url. (example: youremail.posterous.com). After that you can authorize web sites like Facebook, twitter, Flickr, etc. in your account. Another feature is that you can add another email addresses if you want to allow yourself or someone to post in your Posterous account. You should try it out!

Kwippy – yet another Micro-blogging service

Kwippy is another micro blogging service and it look likes Twitter but with comment features. I have been playing around with Kwippy in these days and found that it is a good way to share gTalk, Yahoo and Facebook status with your friends in one place.

Kwippy IM bots allows you to update your kwip from IM (gTalk and Yahoo!). Integration Kwippy Im Bots with your gTalk and Yahoo! status not difficult. Just add the Kwippy IM Bots screen name, they give you in import page, in your gTalk and Yahoo! buddy list and sent the activation code message. Once you have added IM Bot you can update your Kwip via IM.

p.s: Just found it today that You can also update kwip via Ping.fm.

Rejaw – another Twitter meme?

I write about Twitter too much here. Rejaw is a micro blogging service that let you post shouts, replies with your friends, family and co-workers on Rejaw. The service is just launched and not too much to say. There is only one Mac app, Rejaw Radar, is available to update your shouts, whispers and replies on Rejaw. API is also available at Google Groups. Is it another twitter meme?

Claim your Twitter in Technorati

I have just read the post fom BlogHerald reported that Technorati is now indexing Twitter. So our twitts will be indexed after we claimed our twitter profile. So we can now search our twitter messages in Technorati? Anyway, if you have not claimed your twitter in Technorati yet, just do it now. To claim your Twitter in Technorati.

Login to your Technorati account.
Go to the blogs tab in your account.
Type your twitter url in “Claim a Blog” and Click ‘Begin Claim‘
Click ‘Use Post Claim‘.
Copy the code given by Technorati and post in your twitter (you can delete it later on)
Come back to Technorati and Click ‘Release the Spider!‘
You’ve done! and your Twitter page is claimed.

Claim your Blog in Technorati

Choose claim method

Activate the claim

Post the code given by Technorati.

And come back to Twitter again and click ‘Release the Spiders!‘

Done! your Twitter page is claimed.

MyBlogLog refreshed Profile page

I just noticed that MyBlogLog refreshed my profile page after I logged in. Profile page shows the latest updates from all of the services of my contacts. When I clicked on new with Me on my profile page. It only shows all the updates from services which I added in MyBlogLog’s setting page. This is a nice change from MyBlogLog because we can get news and information from our contacts’ updates.

Here few notes from Official MyBlogLog blog

if you’re looking at someone’s profile, you’ll see a list of updates from their services

if you’re looking at your own profile, you’ll see a collective view of updates from all your contacts

on any page, you can toggle to the other view

The updates are pulled from public data available from the services you’ve entered into your MyBlogLog profile. The more services you add, the richer this section will become.

Top 6 tips when you comment to other blogs

Commenting to other blogs is not only the best way to gain relationship between you and the other bloggers but also the getting of new visitors came across from the other blogs you commented. Here I gave you the tips I learn from blogging.

Put the author’s name in your comment

Putting the author name in your comment would make familiar between you and author and you said that you know who is the author of that blog you’re visiting. Finding the author name is easy. Most of the blog has an about page that mentioned the author name. If that blog is a multi authors blog, you can find the author name in the post.

Don’t sell your product or promoting your site

Selling your product or promoting your site in the comment annoy the blog author and then he’ll mark your comment as spam and throw in the spam list. If the author mark your comment as spam, your future comments will be the spam comments and you too, you become a spammer.

Check out the comment policy first

Before you give your comments, find out whether there has comment policy stated in that blog or not. If the blog has comment policy, read carefully the statements mentioned. Obey those.

Don’t “yada yada” comment

Add the value in the comment instead of commenting “good site”, “good post’ in your comment. Say why you like that post or why you disagree that post. Quote which part of that post you like or you don’t like. That make the informative conversation not only for the author but also for the other people who are reading both of your comments and author’s. That drive traffic to your blog.

Don’t put too many links in your comment

If your comment has too many reference links, the automatic spam protection will mark your comments as spam. In that case, contact the author and tell that your comment is not spam and explain why you mentioned those links.

Say “Thank you” in your comment

Say “Thank you” again in the comment if your previous comment was replied especially your comment was question. That increase your comment count in that blog if he installed Top commentators Plugin in the blog.
