Wp Foto theme is single layout theme designed for photo blogger. It uses custom fields for displaying thumbnail in home page, archive page, category and tag page.
Instructions
Create 100 px width and 58 px height image for thumbnail and create a new key under Custom field titled thumbnail. And paste the url of your thumbnail photo.
Wp Foto Theme displays only one post in front page. If you want to show more than one post, you can customize it. To change, find the following code define(MAX_PHOTOS,1) in index.php and change the number 1 to any you want.

I was taking a look at free wordpress themes which are recently featured in Weblog Tools Collection. I did not see many but the following three are really attractive and catch my eyes.

Brightness
Really looks professional theme. Brightness is a magazine style two columns widget ready theme. You can change the layout in WordPress Admin panel. It uses custom field for featuring posts and displaying thumbnails along with excerpt posts in front page.
I’ve been using my Applopress theme for couple of months and I felt like my site is more look like gadget site. And I decided to create new theme for myself in last two months. I got help from my brother and he told me about layout and what colors to use in my site but he still prefer me to use the old one. What changes you’ll see in my new theme.

Footer Section
I move about me, some blog and site links to footer. Those links will be change frequently.
Thumbnail posts
Yes, I made all the posts in excerpt and put thumbnail for each post. I think that can speed up blog loading time and bring more pageviews for my site.
Photo post
Photo post will be shown in full size.
Photo page
I made photo page that has collection of photos I posted here. Right now, you’ll see only two photos in my site. I’ll try to update as much as I can. Sorry, this snap is from my local ;)
Comments section
I used gravatars in comment.
Separated Trackbacks/Pingbacks
I separated trackbacks from comments section. I think that visitor can quickly scan the conversations from comments.
What else?
I’m still experimenting on this theme. And I have plan to release it theme into different versions like widget compatible, two columns, three columns and custom. Any suggestions/comments are welcome.
By the way, this post is 100th post of this blog.

Last week, friend of mind asks me that where he can get FREE PHPBB templates. I was looking around and googling in internet. I found a lot of nice and cool PHPBB templates. I visited those sites, downloaded and tested the following templates in my machine. (Currently, I’m using PHPBB 2). Then I list those sites and mailed back to him. But what I remembered is that some also need template for their PHPBB forum and may be they’re still looking for right PHPBB template. So I make a post and took screenshot and listed in my blog. I hope this post will help you who’re looking for PHPBB template.
