I like Polaroid cameras and photos taken with Polaroid camera. But I don’t have one yet in my life. I always have been wondering of making Polaroid effect photos using Photoshop before. And of course, I did some of my photos to make Polaroid look with Photoshop lately. But as you know, not everyone familiar with Photoshop tools and it is not really easy to do. So I tried to look  for an online tool to convert Polaroid effect from digital photos. I found a service called Rolllip. Rollip allows you upload your photos and convert it into Polaroid photos within few clicks. All you need to do is to choose the effect, upload your photo and caption it. Then it will give you download link, so you can download the photo or share it on your social network of choice or by e-mail.

Foto-Mosaik-Edda is a free software for creating stunning, impressive mosaics photos. To use Foto-Mosaik-Edda, you need lot of source images (the bigger the better, the more the better) , as they recommended is 2000 or more, to create a mosaic database. When you first create mosaic database, it takes time because it scans through your photos and create a base set of “titles” for your mosiac. Once you have done create a mosaic set, creating mosaic photo is straight forward. Just pick up a photo and generate. The software is available for Windows only.

This service is cool if you want to crop your face from group photo when you upload to social networking sites. Some social networking site like Facebook offers this feature but most of them don’t. The service is called Mypictr. Mypictr allows you to upload your photos let you crop and zoom on the fly and create new profile picture for you. It offers predefined size for social networking site like Facebook, Friendster as well as you can customize height and width of your photo. Try it if you don’t have Photoshop or Image editing tools.

Fun Photo Box which is similar to Photofunia, allows you to make funny photos with so many ready made pictures from billboard to Hollywood movies.

Smush.it is very useful when you want optimize your images without reducing the quality, for your web site. The service allows you to upload image files directly from your machine or given urls. You can also install Smush.it Firefox extension as well.

If you want to add watermark to your photos when you’re blogging from internet cafe or the machine that doesn’t have Photoshop or photo software, Picmarkr is best choice for you. Picmarkr is an online tool allow you to add watermark text and image with just few clicks. You can choose photos from your computer as well as your Flickr, Facebook and Picasa account.

After your photos uploaded, you can insert your custom watermark text or image and choose the position and text style that you want to display.

Finally, it will give you download images links that have watermark which you set in Picmarkr.

Resizeimage.org is an online tool that let you resize images into small, medium and large size on the fly. You can also use its advanced editor too.

Pixlr an amazing flash-based online image editing tool allows you to edit your photos from online. It has the basic features like Marquee, Lasso, Magic Wand and other functionalities such as Brightness & Contrast and Image filtering like Blur, Sharpen, Water swirl etc which you see in photshop.
